Our history in aviation began with Lyddon Flying Service, originally founded in La Junta, Colorado, by Bill Lyddon, Sr. in 1965. Flight training was the only service provided at the time, but an air charter business soon developed. In 1975, Bill Lyddon, Sr., along with his sons Steve Lyddon and Bill Lyddon, Jr., purchased the FBO in Lamar, Colorado, whose emphasis was changed to primarily charter, and the business began to grow.
